Howto use RenGuard

I. General Notes
---------------------------------------

After you have successfully installed RenGuard (see Readme for more information), just start Renegade like you are used to (game.exe). RenGuard starts instead

After RenGuard has been started, you can change your Message of the Day Language in the Options Screen.

II. Using WOL (Westwood Online)
-------------------------------------------------------------------

1- Start RenGuard (see I.)

2- Click on "Renegade" after starting RenGuard. 3- RenGuard starts now, and you can login into WOL. Nothing has changed.

WARNING: If you change your WOL Nickname in the game, You need to restart RenGuard and Renegade!!

III. Using GSA (Gamespy Arcade)

Note: Do not start RenGuard now! (if it's started, please close it.)

1- Start the GSA-Software* and login. (*GameSpy Arcade)

2- Select your desired server, and click on "Join Game" (This can differ in several GSA versions

3- RenGuard starts automatically! You just need to click on "Renegade" to start!

4- You need to close RenGuard to join another server! (follow steps 2-3) To quit Renguard, just click on "Quit" on the right end side.

IV. Using ASE (The All Seeing Eye)
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Everything is the same as in GSA (see III). Please also note, that you need to close RenGuard if you are to change servers!

Howto use ASE:

1- Start ASE. (RenGuard must not be running) 2- Select Server and join. 3- (RenGuard starts automatically.) Click "Renegade" in RenGuard. 3a- Play :-). 4- Close RenGuard to play on another Server.
